At 10am, we’ll leave Brussels (flexible timing) and head towards Waterloo.
First, we’ll visit the Memorial 1815 site on the location of the battlefield (depending on time of the year and day of the week). This includes the impressive and modern museum (you’ll visit this at your own pace while guide is around to ask questions), the 19th century Panorama Painting (in its own building), the Lion’s Mound, and the 15-minute 4D movie of the Battle of Waterloo.
Afterwards, we’ll have a quick local lunch (optional and not included in the price) before passing through rural landscapes on our way to Villers-la-Ville.
In the afternoon, we’ll visit the abbey ruins of Villers-la-Ville and, if you want, have a local beer near the abbey to finish the day.
Please contact us for a customized Waterloo tour (for instance include Napoleon’s last headquarter or extra Waterloo sites).
